Brick Effect Painting Tips

Using a dry stiff stippling brush a medium grey paint is applied all over the brick work.

When dry the face of the brick work is gently sanded, this will leave the mortar lines coloured and the brick work slightly stained.

The sponge is loaded up with the required brick colour (using a brush) and then the sponge is dabbed over the face of the brickwork.

Other colours are added to the sponge (such as blue) and randomly dabbed lightly over the brick work. We supply and use Revell Matt Acrylic Paint For brickwork we use: Mouse Grey for the first coat Reddish Brown/Dark Earth mixed for the brick colour
